Memorial for Off Duty or Retired Officers

Over the years, the Memorial has become a focus of remembrance for serving and retired officers, police staff and families.

Following requests from a number of families who wished to have a place to remember those who died either off duty or in retirement, it was decided that a second Memorial wall be built. This wall was designed to compliment the Memorial garden and was completed and unveiled in 2009.

The families or colleagues of such officers or staff who have served in Scotland, may now order a plaque engraved with their details. This plaque will then be attached to the new wall.
